Since April 2018, the Advanced Technologies Center has been included in the Ministry of Innovative Development as a research institution. The center is a technological platform of the Ministry, which provides an opportunity for scientists, innovators and entrepreneurs to develop joint solutions that are economically beneficial for all participants and the Republic of Uzbekistan as a whole. A fundamentally new approach to the commercialization and transfer of science-based technologies is the main feature of the Center. The purpose of the center is to help in the formation of promising ideas and innovative developments, as well as to provide comprehensive support for high-tech production through the exchange of equipment and infrastructure. The center aims to be a leader in the application of high standards in the field of research and innovation. It serves as a technological platform for the development of the country’s innovation ecosystem and the training of new “innovative thinkers”, including support for gender equality in the field of science. The center’s doors are always open to experienced scientists, as well as young researchers and developers who are an integral part of scientific life. The main tasks of the center are: – performing fundamental, applied scientific research and innovative developments in the field of advanced technologies; -implementation of targeted scientific-technical and innovation programs, assistance in the organization of scientific-research and development structures; -participation in the development, modeling, mock-up of science-based technologies and advanced technologies, -preparation of new innovative products and their testing; effective cooperation with science in academic, higher education and industrial fields; to help in the formation of new promising ideas and developments; – to create favorable conditions for young people to learn modern research methods, as well as to introduce the possibilities of information technologies to scientific experience, to expand and strengthen international scientific relations.Currently, the Center consists of 6 laboratories engaged in modern biotechnology, geophysics and nanomineralogy, cell technology, experimental biophysics, physico-chemistry, research methods, fudomics, as well as the department of new information technology research and scientific and technical information, commercialization department. consists of lime. As part of integration with production, a wide range of analytical services is provided to public and private companies and organizations. The main scientific directions of the center: -Development of effective technologies for the development of various drugs (including antimicrobial and fungicidal, antibiotic and antiviral, recombinant drugs); – Screening of the biological effects of promising drugs developed in our country; – Researches in the field of molecular genetics of socially important diseases: hereditary (congenital pathology), multifactorial and infectious diseases; – Development of modern test kits for clinical and biochemical research for medicine and agriculture; – Development of new directions of fundamental research in the field of chemometrics and metabolomics of humans and other living systems; -Development of microclonal plant propagation technologies (medicinal, ornamental, important for agriculture); – Development of a scientific methodology for the assessment, search and geological exploration of original metals and rare earth mineralization in Uzbekistan – Assessment of the prospects of closed and unconventional types of mineralization of the territory of Uzbekistan, identification of prospective areas for mineral reserves; – Development of innovative geophysical technologies for monitoring man-made and natural processes; -In the process of beneficiation and processing, the study of minerals with a low concentration of useful components, the search and evaluation of closed, large-scale and unconventional objects with a low concentration of useful components.; -Development of new composite material production technology, micron membranes, etc. in the interaction of high-power laser radiation with solid materials.
